Hmmm, I might just have to give that a shot first, it's also available on lingq. I will take your word for it and leave pinocchio for now, at least until I read Cuore. Thanks again!

EN: First of all, I have read the first twenty chapters of "Cuore". Honestly, I am finding it a bit boring so far but I can respect the story and the history behind it. I will keep at it for now at least. My work on lingq is slow and steady, I know over 4000 words thus far according to the system but I'm always coming across words that I know in new text. I have only read 50k words on lingq which isn't too bad as lingq doesn't consist of most of my reading, a lot of it coming from news websites and other books.
I have seen a few interesting documentaries in Italian about the seas and oceans. As Italy is surrounded by seas they produce a lot of good documentaries on these it seems. I linked two of them above. As for italki, i am starting to move away from grammar and get more into talking. This is a big step for me. Yesterday, we talked for the first half hour of the hour lesson, just chatting in Italian. and I could almost always get my point across (except for when I had to explain what I did at the gym the night before, as i didn't have the vocabulary for that). This was an exciting feeling.

I remember finishing the book in one go many years ago. It's saccharine sweet and easy to read. Bassani's Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini and Moravia's La noia are beautiful but I'd wait a bit before starting those. You may enjoy Emilio Salgari's adventure books.

sient’a mme chi t’ ‘o ffa fa

Edit: A few errors I caught this morning and I forgot to do a summary in English.
The last two weeks have been a bit slower than the last couple of months. In terms of coursework, I haven't done much at all. However, I still think my exposure to Italian is growing. I am reading/watching/listening more than I did before. Actually, I'm listening to Italian music while writing this. I made a playlist in Italian this week which contains the works of the artists/bands Jovanotti, Il volo, 883, Adriano Celentano, and etc. One of my favorite songs is "L'italian", it's a fun song, and I found two versions of the song that I really like. They are both linked above, you can choose which one you like most. Changing topic, unfortunately I can not find a site where I can watch Family Guy in Italian, I got to season 4 watching on Eurostream which now is not available in my country.
The next song in the bottom three links is L'americano which you may have heard of even if you don't speak Italian. It's in Neapolitan, and I showed how some of the lyrics are different and similar respectively to standard Italian.
