OK, so much for sending the work in pdf on Friday. Still nothing. Wonder if I should email the instructor back.

365-day challenge: Week four report. Gonna do this one today instead of Monday. I'd prefer to do these on Sundays when I have time.

22.01: Finished the article Esperanto: lingvo nur principe gxena por kapitalistoj k imperiistoj in the Ulrich Lins Festlibro.
23.01: Read most of the short story La Porcio da Glaciajxo (14 pages), but it was soooo boring. Listened to #820 of Pola Retradio.
24.01: Started the article Cxu vere dangxera lingvo? Ulrich Lins kaj la historio de la futuro in the Festlibro (10 pages).
25.01: Lost this day. -7 points. Had to put our dog down. He was a great dog. 15 years old. Dogs give you many, many wonderful days, and one horribly sad day at the end.

RIP, Merry.

26.01: Read several pages for about an hour in the Enkonduka lernolibro de Interlingvistiko.
27.01: Finished Cxu vere... in the Festlibro (10 pages).

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Thanks to all you wonderful people. It was a hard weekend, and a hard Monday so far. Everywhere in town I walk now I think back to when I walked Merry there. He was such a good boy. The last year+ has been hard, especially for my wife and daughters, but I'm glad that he stayed on through the holidays so my boys could see him one last time. In fact, it was a Christmas miracle: for the last couple of years he just wasn't himself. He wouldn't curl up with anyone anymore (one of his favorite things in the past was to be curled next to one of his humans), but over the Christmas holidays he curled up with all my kids at one point or another like in the good old days. I guess he was lucid in those moments enough to know that he had to say goodbye to each of them.

You all will have to forgive me while I fill my log today with more pics of him.
