Essentially no Spanish today, because I spent the day writing an importer from Flashcards Deluxe (which I've used for years) into Anki (which im finally giving a real try).

It looks like it's working now, so even it it was good for Spanish short-term, I think getting back into flashcards again and making them higher quality will be good for Spanish long-term. :)

Pienso que voy a cambiar mi meta de series de televisión a puras horas de escuchar, y dejar con la meta distinta de "eventos". Entonces así son las cosas:

Situación actual:
  • Minutos: 144 / 6000 vi "La que se avecina" y "Perdidos en la tribu"
  • *Libros: 32 / 1000 leyendo El Marciano por Andy Weir (32%)
  • Palabras: 1070 / 79000 Twitter y este foro
  • Al 2016: 4 / 158 starting from day #207

*El total de libros se multiplica por 100, porque quiero contar fracciones de libros pero el software del foro no soporta eso.

Como mencioné en un otro "hilo", este viernes pasado pasé 5 horas platicando con un amigo mexicano, y entonces 4 horas más hablando con varios desconocidos durante una fiesta en mi depa. :shock:

Soy muy introvertida, así que me escondí en mi cuarto programando por el resto del finde. ;) Pero mirar al lado bueno: hice 2 "add-ons" para Anki, aquí y acá!

Pasé una hora y media leyendo 32* páginas de mi novela El Marciano mientras que noté 20 nuevas tarjetas de Anki desde él. La mayoría es vocabulario, pero también un poco de grámatica, y también unos modismos y oraciones que simplemente me caían bien.

Creo que mi pasaje de texto favorito es este fragmento de diálogo:
contexto: todos esperaban el primer contacto con su astronauta abandonado en Marte wrote:Se abrió paso entre la multitud hasta la consola de comunicaciones.
—¿Alguna cosa, Tim?
—Desde luego, pero estamos mirando esta pantalla negra porque es much más interesante que las imágenes de Marte.
—Eres un listillo, Tim —dijo Venkat.
—Tomo nota.

Creé 4 "clozes" de este fragmento ("multitud", "desde luego", "listillo", y "tomar nota"). ¿Sabe alguien si "listillo" se usa en todo el mundo hispanohablante, o sólo en España?

*Leo aún más lento en español que en inglés, desafortunadamente.

No he estudiado mis tarjetas de aprendizaje de Flashcards Deluxe desde hace un buen rato, y así se pusieron atrasados. Y cuando importé estas tarjetas a Anki, siguieron estando atrasados. ¡Ahora tantas tarjetas que debo estudiar! :P

Leí "El Marciano" por 2 horas esta noche — ahora he leído 49% del libro. Noté varias frases para crear más tarjetas de aprendizaje:

Desde estas páginas creé 22 notas en Anki. Mi pasaje favorita era este parte de un mensaje del director a nuestro "marciano" intrépido, quien sólo tiene música disco de un compañero:

La tasa de transferencia de datos no es suficiente para el tamaño de los archivos de música, ni siquiera comprimidos. Así que tu petición de «lo que sea, oh, Dios, lo que sea menos disco» te ha sido denegado. Disfruta tu fiebre del sábado noche.

Escuché dos veces la banda sonora (doblado) de "Fantasma de la Ópera". Después, ¡contribuí mis primeras cuatro(!) letras a LyricsTraining! Dura bastante tiempo en transcribir o corregir las letras... Buena práctica, ¿no? :)

No habrá muchas actualizaciones aquí por las 3 semanas que viene, porque estoy acampando y luego visitando con mi esposo. ¡Al menos leo mucho más libros en español cuando acampo! :)
