But I am intrigued by how much my language balance shifts each week. I never seem to be able to find a decent balance of French and Russian - one of them always gets shunted out. In some ways, this isn't a bad thing - Russian is and should be my priority for the time being - but I would like to get a little more even.One of the issues in the last few weeks has been that I haven't really been reading at all (even in English). I have always read while on trains and buses, but because I've started cycling everwhere I can, I haven't really been reading. I need to find an alternative slot, that I designate as 'reading time', but my schedule changes a lot each week.
Russian

- Watched: A stupid amount of OUAT.
- Wrote: 794 words - it's a start again! I am a quarter of the way through the Output Challenge, which is obviously pretty behind, but probably better than I was expecting! Hopefully I can push forward with it.

Spanish
I started watching Gilmore Girls in Spanish. I had to speak to someone in Spanish this week, and while I understood her perfectly, every time I answered, I automatically reverted to Russian. Which feels like a good sign that my Russian isn't actively getting worse, it wasn't very helpful for Spanish! I definitely still need subtitles for Gilmore Girls (and sadly I don't have Spanish subs, only English) but I do understand better than I would have expected.
Well that makes me feel better! I was watching Daredevil for that reason, but I just found that I couldn't convince myself to watch it at the end of the day. I like lighthearted shows, where everyone is nice to each other! (This cuts down my options a lot...)
