Re: Jeff's language log
What is your native language Jeff? I don't think I've ever worked it out.

Saken är avgjord!
(I used google translate for accuracy... sounds like Norwegian, but looks different).

2021 - Summary of week 47
A very late summary. I finished a couple of books in Swedish - again mostly crime fiction. I also finished Winter of the World and started reading the third and final volume in the series. This Thursday evening we played another game of Mansions of Madness. I don't remember the name of the scenario, but it was a victory. The stars were aligned. I also managed to squeeze in a solo game of Eldritch Horror.
NL: More Loyal Books content. Still no reading.

Re: Jeff's language log
I'm currently watching a Swedish heist story mini-series , Enkelstöten (UK title: A very scandi scandal), it's based on a book but annoyingly the book seems to be only available in Swedish .jeff_lindqvist wrote:2021 - Summary of week 47

Ah, I enjoyed that crime comedy. I watched the first season some years ago. It's loosely based on the original series (from 1980, and that series was based on the first and second book).

2021 - Summary of week 48
A late summary. Halfway through the Edge of Eternity. This Thursday evening we played no fewer than three games. The first was Scandinavia and the World, a funny card game about stereotypes. The second was Surrealist Dinner Party where you seat Surrealist artists at a dinner table and serve them what they want so they're satisfied. You can also send compliments and create drama. Finally we played Citadels, which felt like a combination of Fantasy Realms and Love Letter.
During the weekend I had a look at Manx on Wikipedia and Youtube. No, it won't be my target language for 2022. Next life, perhaps.

2021 - Summary of week 49
A late summary again. Close to finishing Billy Summers by Stephen King (a great read, so far). ~500 pages left of the Edge of Eternity. This Thursday evening we played Mansions of Madness again. Twilight Diadem is the best scenario so far. No success, though.
