That's true, writing critical essays about literature isn't everyone's cup of tea...

Could you share the blogs you use for studying Daridja? This is a dialect I'd like to study myself at some point, but I find it hard without a lot of resources. I'm especially interested in the Algerian variety.

There are more blogs and websites like these two but I haven't tried them.

Re: Marah's log
Goedenavond Marah,

Groetjes!

Re: Marah's log
I'm thinking of working a bit more on MSA rather than dialects right now. I've been watching some of these videos intended for Arabic learners https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B3ys0q3FSE and it was as easy as it was pleasant. On the other hand, in France there are plenty of people to practice Darija with and I have lots of friends who are bilingual in Darija...
I'm also going back ten lessons in my Turkish Assimil book because my Anki reviews haven't been too easy lately.

Re: Marah's log
I think it's fair to say that I've stopped using LWT. It's not for languages like Polish with lots of declensions... And I feel like my current method is working fine anyway.
While I was re-watching Tim Doner's videos on Youtube I realized that I was able to understand more than I thought I could in Arabic, that and his achievements have motivated me to keep studying MSA. It's a language that I study at a slow rythm, ie~ only spending 15minutes a day, learning ~6-7 new words, and some grammatical points but it seems to be enough to make progress.
Russian, however, has been my main focus lately. I've been spending over an hour a day on it, learning 20-30 words a day in ~10-15 sentences that I add into Anki, watching videos about grammatical points that I've neglected in favor of increasing my vocabulary, etc.
I also spend a decent amount of time on Dutch, Swedish, Danish and Italian but I don't add as many words because articles seem to be getting easier to understand. Podcasts in Italian are so easy to understand that I might consider dedicating that time to listening to other languages like Polish or Serbocroatian. I can definitely follow Podcasts in Swedish and Dutch but I'm not at the same level I reached in German so I guess I'll just have to keep learning new words for them to get more transparent.
