This is the 3rd time that I have seen you refer to the red Mauger book. Please may you kindly expound further on your experiences with it/them?

Reineke expresses his regret that he cannot share his feelings about this issue as he has been banned for trolling, flooding and inflammatory remarks. He wishes to reiterate his request that his account and all his posts and private information be removed from LLORG and affiliated sites.

Warm regards to fellow boardies.

If his posts do get removed, that will leave quite the hole. He tended to post a lot of really detailed posts with links to scientific studies and the like.

To clarify, this is a temporary one-week ban. (The decision was made collectively by the mod team)

I'd be very sad to see reineke go. He's my go-to fox for interesting articles and cryptic crosswords.

Wow, I’m not happy to see this. I don’t know what happened, or the reasoning behind the spate of closed threads but I’m not going to double guess the actions of the mods. Been a mod, done that and it’s thankless.

I hope Reineke comes back and his account and posts remain but ultimately I hope his wishes are respected. He’s a good and challenging sounding board for a lot of ideas.

This is very sad news for me. Reineke's posts of the last week have helped me to sort some things out. And I find his language-learning story the most motivating one and really helpfull for me.

I would plan on saving his links in his resources pages just in case.

Agreed. Hope it is all sorted happily and amicably behind the scenes, so we can continue to appreciate his foxly wisdom.
