Lesson 40 this morning, Μέσα στο σπιτάκι (= Inside the [little] house). Reviewed Lessons 30, 20, and 10. Lots of new vocab in this one but nothing novel on the grammar front. A few good new verbs.
Put Lesson 10's vocab into my EN -> EL Anki deck.
Time spent on Greek: 38 hours, 45 minutes

Lesson 41 this morning, Ώρα για ουζάκι (= Time for ouzo). Diminutives, a few new vocab words.
This one was too easy! Also reviewed Lessons 31, 21, and 11, put Lesson 11's vocab into my EN -> EL Anki deck.
Time spent on Greek: 39 hours, 45 minutes
Coming up on six weeks of Greek learning! Haven't missed a day yet.

Six weeks of strolling through Greek!
Lesson 42 this morning, a Διάλογος επανάληψης (= review dialogue) lesson. Man, this one may have been the most overstuffed of the review lessons yet. Also looked over Lessons 32 (another difficult one), 22, and 12, and put Lesson 12's vocab in Anki.

Re: A stroll through modern Greek
Lesson 43 this morning, Ένα πανέμορφο σημείο (= a very beautiful place). More aorist practice, some good new vocabulary. I'm starting to notice more subtleties about the phonology of the language, for example how the sound /i/ sometimes gets reduced in unstressed syllables and how λ varies in pronunciation depending on the vowels around it.
I reviewed Lessons 33, 23, and 13 as well, and put Lesson 13's vocab into Anki.
Time spent on Greek: 41 hours, 45 minutes
One more week and I'll be at the halfway point of the "passive wave!"

Lesson 44 this morning, Η αγαπημένη γιαγιά (= The beloved grandmother). Lots of good new verbs in this one. Also reviewed Lessons 34, 24, and 14.
It's not always easy to fit in an hour of Greek each day but I'm still managing it!
Total study time: 42 hours, 45 minutes

Mine says copyright 2017 as well. What was different in your edition? It's possible I misnumbered one of the lessons or something, heh.
Never mind me, I got confused somehow! I thought some of the lesson names didn't match up with my copy, but I just looked again and they do. Weird... Sorry about that!

Lesson 46 today, Οι φοιτητές και τα κοινωνικά δίκτυα (= Students and social networks). Dang, these lessons just keep getting harder! More vocabulary related to studies and student life, housing, and now the Internet. Reviewed Lessons 36, 26, and 16 as well.

Re: A stroll through modern Greek
Lesson 47 today, Τα νέα (= The news). Really going heavy on the aorist practice now. Wasn't quite as tough as the last two lessons, or maybe I'm just getting used to the higher level. Also reviewed Lessons 37, 27, and 17.
Nearing seven straight weeks of Greek study. The more I learn the more I realize just how tough it will be to master this language but I'm up for the task. :-)

Re: A stroll through modern Greek
Lesson 48 this morning, Ο μπάρμπα-Γιάννης o Κανατάς (τραγουδάκι) (= Barba-Yannis the potter [song]). Interesting usage notes on this one. And yet another verb that confusingly has two sets of conjugations for the same tense, mood, and aspect (φορώ = to carry, to bear). Grrr...
Now I see the origin of "phosphorescent" (= φως + φορώ = light-bearing).
Haven't had time to review earlier lessons yet today.
