Le Pays préféré des Français is a YouTube documentary series on all the regions of France. You have lots to choose from. And it is close captioned. Just click here:

I think I was definitely overestimating my level. Probably A2ish.

There are apparently (I didn't count) 100 videos averaging roughly 10 minutes each, so the series provides several hours of listening. According to TV5Monde, at 7:27 PM Dec. 19, 2020, my level was B1 Intermédiare. Optimistic, I would say. Of the folks in the video Le pays de Vence - Alpes-Maritimes, I mostly understood the lady in the chapel, usually understood the narrator, but struggled listening to all the gentlemen. But all this without recourse to the captions. I agree with Carmody, this is a good series to work with.
Loved the scenes with the glass blowers. :)

Mork,
Many thanks forr your feedback. Greatly appreciated.

And just to clarify, the 100 videos are of different lengths. If one scrolls down to earlier episodes one can find episodes of up to 50 minutes in duration.

Such as this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUKFINukQUM

So I get on my exercise machine, turn on the closed captions, and stay there as long as my legs hold out.

;)

Thank you for recommending Le Pays préféré des Français! It’s just lovely! Reminds me of some of the episodes of Échappées belles set in France, but those are all an hour and a half, which can get unwieldy. (If you *want* to spend an hour and a half Échappées belles is unbeatable.)

Some good recommendations in this thread. I also like to watch the France 3 network (via YouTube) which has all the regions, though I've watched mostly Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Bretagne, where I saw a very good documentary about the 'modernisation' of the crêpe/galette industry by some fellow who invented the super-fast crêpe system used by those people running stalls. In contrast to the traditional method (especially the galette in Bretagne).

The link has all regions. There are shorts from between 40 seconds to a minute and longer programming of 14-30-50 minutes. It's good for listening to a range of different accents, rather than just Paris/Ile-de-France, and for picking up regional vocabulary.

Thank you for reminding me about this series. I think I may use it for some "virtual holidays" over the summer. You mention closed captioning, but on the two episodes I looked at the captions were auto-generated. Is this true of all of the episodes? My experience with auto-generated CC's has been poor, but I suppose they would have a better chance of getting it right in a documentary.
