Oh I see you've decided to give up on French and learn Italian instead. That's excellent news what can I help you with? And since you already know Spanish Italian will be a breeze for you.

Maybe I should go for Chinese. That looks like fun.

I bought a bilingual French / Italian book today - L'Amour Conjugal. I can toss it in. Both languages at the same time!

I can read much faster in French than in Italian. Not only because my French is better, but mainly because Italian words are longer - they haven't eaten up much from Latin syllables compared to French and they even have double hiccup consonants to make me pause. That's why I enjoy Italian audiobooks so much, I can get closer to the speed I actually process Italian without tripping up on so many syllables which I tend to subvocalize.

Nevertheless, I did notice a change in the past months. As I get used to the language I start reading full words and collocations at once, which is more like what we tend to do at fluent languages.

Should be "Nevertheless, I did notice a change in the past few months."

I need to find some Italian audiobooks. I think I would prefer non-fiction. Do you get yours from Audible? Or somewhere else?

I get them from Emons.it . I buy individual audiobooks as the subscription model doesn't fit my usage. The individual audiobooks over there are actually cheaper than on Audible.

Is that the URL, because that sends me to an Italian logistics and trucking company...

I had the same problem with the logistics company.

I wonder if it's this?

They had some domain issues in the past and now they've moved to that URL lingo posted above.

Basically, I have to google them every time I want to join them.
