146 minutes of Italian today.
1st session - computer (50 minutes): anki, memrise, duolingo, conjuguemos, bliubliu, reading over the corrections for a (very short) text that I sent to my italki tutor
2nd session - extensive reading (21 minutes): I'm not sure why I forgot about checking the ReadLang library, but it turns out that they have several books available. I started reading Il piccolo principe today. It's a sweet story that I know very well in French, so it's a very easy read. I don't imagine that it will take me much more than a week to finish.
3rd session - listening (41 minutes): bliubliu, Al Dente 8 (listened and read along), Peppa Pig
4th session - Assimil (34 minutes): Assimil lesson 48. I'm getting very close to the active phase!
My uncorrected Italian text:
Il mio cane si chiama Yogi, ed è un piccolo cane bianco con i capelli lunghi. Yogi ama molto le persone, ma odia gli altri cani! Lui sempre vuole litigare con i cani che camminano in la strada. Sono molto vergognoso e sempre dico "Mi dispiace!" alle altre persone.
After corrections:

Re: Stelle's 2016 log (Spanish, Tagalog, Italian)
Il mio cane ha un problema diverso: ama tutti i cani ma ha paura di quasi tutti gli umani. Quando vado nel parco devo spiegare ai bambini che vogliono accarrezzarlo, "Mi dispiace, gli sconosciuti gli fa paura!"

Re: Stelle's 2016 log (Spanish, Tagalog, Italian)
153 minutes of Italian yesterday:
1st session - conversation (31 minutes): Skype conversation with one of my two Italian tutors.
2nd session - computer (45 minutes): anki, bliubliu, memrise, duolingo, conjuguemos
3rd session - listening (33 minutes): bliubliu, a YouTube video (Confessiomoci – GoT) by a guy explaining why he didn't like Game of Thrones. I wasn't able to understand every single word, but I was able to follow the general gist. I plan on listening to it a few more times.
4th session - Assimil / intensive reading (33 minutes): Assimil lesson 49 (a review lesson, and I went through it in less than 10 minutes), intensive reading of the transcript of Al Dente 8.
5th session - extensive reading (24 minutes): Il piccolo principe. This is one of my favourite books, and I forgot how sweet and sad it was. I'm really enjoying reading it in Italian.
I'll be caring for my two young nieces (6 and 13) for the next week, so I'm pretty sure that I'll have a lot less time for Italian this week, although I'll try to come up with a schedule that works.
(Also, we just discovered that my smallest niece has lice. Oh, the horror. My head itches just thinking about it. Time to wash her cute little infested head with the shampoo we just picked up from the pharmacy.)

Finally all caught up with your log! I was a few months behind so it's taken me a while. This is what comes of not being subscribed to all of the logs I follow...
2018 Swahili sounds like great fun! (It also sounds like high foolishness, considering I'm planning on strictly following the Finnish-Polish-Swahili trajectory... oh, dear!)

I guess that means we start Polish in 2017. This is probably going to kill us.

At least we can give directions to carve an impressive amount of languages on our gravestones!

Re: Stelle's 2016 log (Spanish, Tagalog, Italian)
Only 69 minutes of Italian yesterday - as predicted, having two kids in the house is making it a lot harder to get focused study time! Listening in particular is difficult, because there are often interruptions.
1st session - computer (43 minutes): bliubliu, memrise, duolingo, conjuguemos, anki
2nd session - Assimil (10 minutes): active wave, lesson 2
3rd session - listening (16 minutes): anki audio deck, Al Dente 9 (first listen)

Re: Stelle's 2016 log (Spanish, Tagalog, Italian)
I read the following in Assimil Italian at Ease:
- Mi chiami un taxi?
- Te lo chiamo subito.
Why is it "mi" in the first sentence and "te" in the second? I would have assumed that it should be mi/ti or me/te. Can anyone clarify for me?
Grazie!
