(That's "ka, kha, ga" in Malayalam and "one, two three" in Tamil. Just for the record. )

For this log, I'm really just going to learn how to read (and maybe write) Malayalam and Tamil. If I get past that anytime soon, I'll start learning the languages themselves. But so that this does not take too much away from my Japanese studies, I'm only worried about slowly learning the alphabet.

For resources I'll be using the following:
https://malayalam.bharatavani.in/book/a ... m-level-1/
https://tamil.bharatavani.in/book/an-in ... il-script/

Updates will probably be small and sporadic, but more to come!

For the next while I'm going to go through Lessons 1 & 2 in Apni Boli for Malayalam. I figure it makes more sense to learn one script at a time, and Malayalam is more interesting to me ATM. I also have purposefully said "next while" to leave it organic for how long it takes to me to complete the task. Be it three days or three weeks. (I certainly don't think it'll take me three months! )
