(EDIT: Feb. 12, 2022)
I originally started this log for Japanese with the thought that I would actually be going to Japan in the very near future. It seems fate has other plans for me. Consequentially, I'd like to repurpose this as a general log for the Asian languages I'm interested in (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tibetan, Dzongkha, Mongolian). It seems I can take my time now, and explore whatever Asian language I would like. Granted I'd love to continue on with Japanese at some point, but I'm feeling a bit burned out at the moment after all that effort for naught.

My original post begins below.

Man does not live on bread alone. Language Learners do not learn by textbooks alone.

But having said that, textbooks are a great way to lay the foundations of a well built language house. To that end, I decided to sign up for the 365 challenge in the hope that it helps me stick to my resources and finish the textbook(s) I've started. My personal goal for the challenge is to complete the following:

-Minna no Nihongo (Beginner Book I & II) - All 50 lessons (including all supplementary workbooks)

I was initially thinking of doing both Japanese and Polish together, right off the bat, but decided that it might be a bit too much to take on at once. Especially given I'm still struggling to study even one of them more than 3 days a week. If I am able, I would like to add it to the challenge, but that is neither here nor there. In the meantime, I will still study Polish when I am able.

I decided to start a new log primarily to track my progress once the challenge officially starts. That way it'll (hopefully!) be easier to track my progress, and it won't get lost in my random thoughts. (I'll still post musing and such in my other log. ;) )
