Still managing at least an hour of Spanish studying every day. I've covered 39.7% of the Kwiziq B1 content so far.
I had one low day this week where I only managed 5 minutes I was feeling down due to the obvious world issues and didn't do much of anything that day but it passed and I'm trying to be kind and have patience with myself at the moment.
My new teaching job has stopped completely now, because I'm the newest teacher at the company. They're giving any remaining work to more experienced teachers than me, including givING them my students. No explanation or discussion...they just told me that's how it is. This really did contribute to my feeling down, amongst other financial issues and worries at the moment. I know there are many much worse off than me so I'm trying to be optimistic but sometimes it's hard.
Kwiziq lost my streak... I've contacted them to ask what happened. I'm told they're looking into it. I should be at over 30 days but I'm at 5
Now I'm on Kwiziq B1 it's hard, I recognise lots of things but I have never really learnt them properly before. I am finding that Kwiziq is not good at teaching new material in a sensible order.
One of the first B1 lessons it gave me on Kwiziq was "using the Present Subjunctive after querer que" but it hasn't even tested me on the conjugations of the present subjunctive yet!?
Kwiziq regularly gives me tests on irregular Conditional verbs but it still hasn't tested me on the regular ones and the same for Imperative. It's quite annoying, I can't really understand the lesson...how am I supposed to notice/learn something that is irregular, if I don't know what the regular looks like?
It's frustrating as I would have to override the AI suggested lessons to learn them in a more sensible order and also I can't practice or drill conjugations on Kwiziq itself because it penalises you for wrong answers!
I've had to resort to an old fashioned grammar book that drills the regular subjunctive conjugations because I don't know them

TBH I'm starting to think that a good old fashioned grammar book is better than Kwiziq, I am disappointed that this may be my conclusion after 1 month of use. Still I may change my mind, maybe this is just a hiccup... I've got 2 more months paid up...so we'll see
