Contraception, rather than anticonception.

(Your English is so freaking good, it’s an honor to make such a minor correction!)

Of course. Was I drunk when I wrote that? My brain must have farted. Anticonceptie in Dutch so that's probably why I mixed it up.

My English is supposed to be good, I grew up speaking it after all...

Funny story - my interpreting teacher says I really also need to get my diploma for English, next to Spanish. "Your English is excellent, it's your mother tongue after all, and you'd have a massive advantage."

The first trip of this year is booked - 5 days in Finland! This is my first time there, and I'm immensely excited. It's all new and there's also some really nice personal reasons to go there! I've always wanted to go there, and now I can make that dream come true.

If all goes well I'll be returning there on a more frequent basis, so I hope it will be a long-lasting love affair, but I haven't been as excited about a trip as this one in a long time.

Finland here I come!

Which region will you visit? If you're going to the capital region make sure to see get outside into the nature as well. (If you're anywhere else, you probably shouldn't run into the danger of missing this out.)

I'm only going for a few days, I'm not sure I'll have the time on this trip, most likely Helsinki/Kerava - but it depends on what my Finnish counterpart is planning 8-)

I have been sick for a long time and also busy with studies (once I recovered a bit... still in quarantine, but at least it's just my throat hurting from talking too much now and not so much a general feeling of the blurgh), but I've been able to do a LOT of Spanish during the meantime, and also some Finnish, which is pretty good. I did a lot of vocabulary list work (online mock conference and so on), and some vocab work for the upcoming exams.

I also learned the Finnish word for "bella", namely "kaunokainen", which is from the word "kaunis". As in "bella ciao", from the song. You know what I'm talking about.

I've finally re-started Storia della bambina perduta (which is in Italian), now that I've finished some important things, and I also watched the fourth season of La Casa de Papel.

Right now, it's time for me to say this: menen nukkumaan (I'm going to bed), but I'm just giving a sign of life just for you all to see that corona hasn't murdered me in my sleep (yet).

Moi moi! peace out and so on...

Too tired to do much, but I started Brot (The Valhalla Murders in English), which I watched one episode of, and mucked about other than that, because I'm super tired.

Not much news here. Come back next week. ;)
