Thanks Brun Ugle, kind of you to say! I wish I knew who I actually was, it would undoubtedly make life less confusing sometimes. I myself have only low expectations for this log but I am hoping you are right (I have been wrong lots before, ask anyone).

Two puzzlers and something cool that is new to me, now that I have now read the imdb.com material concerning this movie.

Puzzler 1: This movie only garnered a 5.5 on imdb and some really negative comments, which strikes me as a titch unfairly low. I thought it was a fun movie, some nice European scenery, some (from my easily-amused perspective) hilarious scenes. No great philosophic film for sure, but enough fun that I would have ranked it higher. From a language learner perspective, and from the perspective of my limited French, I though the subtitling was pretty good (saw this on HBO, so it possibly was not subtitled in Québec which is usually the case for me in Canada which often seems to introduce some variance between actual dialogue and subtitle).

Puzzler 2: one of the user reviews notes the following:

"NOT a story of a man who wakes up to find his scrotum missing!!! lol
10/10
Author: MagyarRose from United States
6 April 2014
Who is editing these film descriptions to allow such an idiotic statement? "

I will likely never know whether the April 2014 entry for this movie for imdb was wildly and strangely off, or Magyar Rose just has a very quirky sense of humour. I am likely gonna be puzzled by this all my life now.

Cool and new to me: the Picard language (northern France and parts of Belgium)

The lead actor, Dany Boon, who has had some success in France particularly I gather with Rien à déclarer apparently grew up not speaking French but instead a dialect of Picard. As per imdb.com: "Had almost never spoke French before the age of 12. He spoke mainly his Chtimi dialect of Picard (Langue d'oïl) language at home. He often uses his regional language in his one man shows and used his Chtimi accent in the movie Joyeux Noël to play Ponchel."

Possibly something awful. Or perhaps awesome. Probably merely something anti-climatic. Fingers crossed though for a pony!
