Regarding Memrise, you are likely aware that there are now Memrise-generated (rather than user-generated) French courses, French 1 through 7, which I believe are projected to take one roughly to the B1 level. I loved the French Pimsleur when I worked though the first couple of levels previously and found it really helped me in being able to actually use French in conversation, rather than just racking up a bunch of isolated vocabulary items.
