I have two tests at Uni in a week so I'm not studying much...I'm just reading some Harry Potter or The Hobbit in Japanese.
There is definitely a good number of words I don't know...really, how many words has Japanese?
Anyway, I can follow the Harry Potter story pretty well, but sometimes I have to look up a work. I'm quite happy because some months ago I was having problems with understanding the meaning and not just some word.

I don't know how far you are in Harry Potter, but someone on Memrise has created Harry Potter vocabulary lists:
Chapters 1-3
Chapters 4-5
Unfortunately that's all there is so far, but I found it very helpful to study the vocab for a chapter before reading it. (On the other hand, I only made it through the first chapter so far before focusing on another book )

I'm thinking about subscribing to a podcast or something like that (for Japanese). I don't know if this could be a efficient method to learn vocabulary and grammar or if I should go for a Noryoku book...

This could be helpful indeed
I routinely try to go through Harry Potter but then I start other books again but I'll persist

Kanji and vocabulary but first kanji. If you don't know kanji you can't learn vocabulary....this I've learned...
In a month or two I'll have my kanji book completed and then I'll tackle again grammar and extensive reading

Re: Elisac's log - Japanese - Hebrew - Greek
I discovered that if I watch Japanese TV I should understand everything they say because I know the words...but in reality I understand only a little of what they say...
I'm trying to tackle this without neglecting my other studies...I nevertheless want to complete the study of all the kanji e study again all the N2 grammar but I'll try to listen to everything Japanese to try to resolve my listening problem

Re: Elisac's log - Japanese - Hebrew - Greek
Due to work issues I've had not much time to go ahead with my plans but I'm trying to watch Japanese television whenever I can. Sometimes I think my listening is getting better but not very often . I'm a little more than halfway through my way to know all the kanji and I hope I'll get there in 2-3 months.
