Hi.

I want to improve my German during one month from now untill middle of september. My German is probably around B2 level. I thought I can get some ideas from others here, and also document what I do.

My goals are:
- improve listening skills
- improve speaking skills, especially pronunciation and prosody and flow
- general improvement

I thought this is what I will do, for maybe 1-2 hours every day.

Listening:
- Listen to german radio. WDR5 has a lot of interesting programs as podcasts
- Watch german TV or youtube, as entertainment instead of doing this in Norwegian or English
- More intensive or active listening exercises if I can find some good websites that has both audio and a transcript. Any suggestions?

Speaking, pronunciation:
This is the most stressfull for me to practice. But I want to practice to get a more natural German accent.
- Find a good source with audio and transcription and imitate a native speaker, recording myself and comparing it to the original.

General:
- I have one book I want to read. This will be enjoyable, and it will also augment my vocabulary.
- I forgot: I will also use Anki and will add words that I come across and want to learn.

What I like about it is that you don’t have to hear your own voice too much.

Tag eins:
Was ich Heute gemacht habe:
- Eine Episode von Quarks (WDR5) angehört. Ich kan es meistens verstehen, aber einiges habe ich nicht aufgefasst.
- Eine Episode von "Easy German" geschaut.

I tried briefly the "chorus method", repeating and chorusing a sentence 20 times straight. I have to say personally I don't like this method so I will practice prosody in another way.

Tag zwei

- Ich habe mit meiner Anki Deck weitergemacht. Viele Wörter habe ich schon vergessen, die ich halbes Jahr vor hinzugefügt habe.
- Ein Asterix Zeichenfilm angeschaut. Spaß, aber nicht einfach die Stimmen zu verstehen.
- "Deutsche Welle" https://www.dw.com/de/deutsch-lernen/al ... sch/s-9214 - eine gute Seite für Deutschlerners. Sie bieten auch das Manuskript.

Tag drei

- Anki
- Eine Podcast von Deutschlandfunk Nova, "Eine Stunde History" angehört.
- Deutsche Welle. Ich habe einige Sätze nachgeahmt, und aufgezeichnet, um meine Prosodi zu üben. Die Stimme auf DW ist sehr gut und deutlich anzuhören, aber, ein bischen künstlich ausgesprochen vielleicht? Gibt es jemand, der echt so spricht?

Tag vier

- Ich habe mit meinem Buch angefangen: "Die Germanen: Geschichte und Mythos" - über die Ureinwohner Deutschlands. Wird interessant sein.
- Eine Episode von Deutschlandfunk Nova angehört: über DaVinci.
- Eine Episode aus Deutsche Welle angehört (dieselbe Episode wie gestern).
- Leider nichts gesprochen.

Tag fünf

Heute habe ich Deutsch mit zwei Muttersprachler gesprochen.
Zudem habe ich folgende getan:
- Anki
- Eine "Quarks" Episode angehört, aus WDR5
- In meinem Buch "Germanen" gelesen.

Morgen werde ich bestimmt Aussprache üben.

Tag sechs

- Ich habe NDR Ratgeber entdeckt, durch ein post hier. Diese Programme haben manchmal auch untertitel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAKB9w ... rvbbbmgetw
Heute habe ich sorgfältig eine Episode studiert: Erst ohne untertitel, danach mit.
- Asterix erobert Rom angesehen
- Anki
- Ausspracheübungen beim Nachahmen und meine Stimme aufzeichnen.

Tag sieben

Schon eine Woche. Ich habe heute bislang Ausspracheübungen gemacht. Ich höre ein Satz, oder ein Teil von ein Satz, ein paar Mal an, dann ahme ich er nach, und vergleiche die Aufnahme mit dem Original. Das ist anstrengend, und zeitaufwendig, aber gut für mich.

Heute werde ich noch was Podcast oder Video anhören oder anschauen.

Ich habe jetzt eine Routine gefunden. Ich muß unbedingt jeden Tag Ausspracheübungen machen. Videos und podcasts nutze ich einfach und mit Vergnügen, also es ist nicht so aufwendig für mich. Ich denke ich werde nicht mehr täglich schreiben, weil es wird langweilig darüber zu lesen.
