Just finished Language Transfer! Can't believe I actually made it, and I'm sad I won't be hearing any more of Mihalis teaching me Greek in the morning :( Now, I'm gonna move on to reading more and watching Greek media. Might sign up to Greek iTalki lessons too.

To replace LT on my morning walks, I've started Pimsleur Russian. As I already speak Bulgarian, it seems horrifically slow and easy to me! But, I want to perfect pronunciation and learn how to build sentences, not just understand them. So I'll keep going.

I took a few weeks break from intensive language learning and just listened to podcasts and watched shows for a bit. Now, I'm back. I've started using the podcasts & pdfs from Hellenic American Union. I understand quite a bit, so I hope they get tougher!

Anyway, I've decided I'm moving to Greece after this mess is all over.

What do you think about Language Transfer? Did you do like he said without really taking down any notes?

Hi Thala, why don't you try the Kypros audio course next? They beginning will sound easy but the cover way more than Language Transfer.

I adore Greece, every time I visit my heart aches to return. 17 years in the UK and I've never felt the same (though I do like the UK humour and brits in general... I just can't get over the bad weather!)

Ooo, will definitely try it. I created an account but it says there was an issue with the email, the site is a bit slow too. Hopefully I'm able to access it soon. It is Greek or Cypriot Greek (because of the Kypros name)?

It's supposed to be Cypriot Greek but if there's any difference they are minimal.

You can still access the course as a guest.

Today, I had my first Greek iTalki lesson! Feels good to finally get some speaking practice! I had a rough few months and couldn't book any lessons, but now I'm excited to continue. All my life I've been learning languages on and off, I want to actually get fluent in something.

And tomorrow, I have a Russian lesson!
