I have been horrifically busy the past few weeks so my Greek has taken a step back :( My Greece trip is in a month though, so I can work more on it there!

On the bright side, looking at Greek Airbnb listings I am able to understand some descriptions. I truly think this language is simple for me to learn, I just need to fix up my schedule as it's a rocky time for me right now. I'll sign up for some iTalki lessons too in the future.

Haven't updated in so long! I'm still keeping up with Greek, though the past few months it's been very light. Recently I've revved study up a bit. My main resource is Language Transfer, I'm really enjoying listening to a couple episodes while walking in the morning. I also do some Memrise a few times a day. Can't wait to have some substantial progress to post about haha.

I went to Athens in October and had a great time. Already planning to spend my entire summer in Greece!

I'm nearly at the halfway point for Language Transfer. Finally starting to understand the endless η/την/τον/τη/etc articles! It's cool that it's already covering cases. I never thought an audio course would work for me but this really is amazing. I wish there were LT courses for some of the other languages I'm learning!

I also started reading Λυδία: Ένα καλοκαίρι στην Ελλάδα! (Lydia: A Summer in Greece), an easy-reader. I'm actually finding it pretty simple to understand. Simpler than the Deltos.gr books. I recommend it for anyone still at the A1 level.

Aside from that I'm watching some Greek YouTubers like Konilo who subs some of his videos and is really funny. I've had a couple podcast recommendations that seem super interesting but I just can't understand anything yet!

Discovered this guy Fred Grün, who learned fluent Greek and became viral in Greece. I have to say, his Greek accent is amazing. The Greeks in the comments are absolutely losing it at what he's done lol.
