Re: Thala's Greek Log!
I just had another Greek iTalki lesson. I've also had 2 Russian ones so far. I plan on having 3 of each every week (bye bye wallet). It's really enjoyable and a nice break from textbook solo study.

Re: Thala's Greek Log!
I've settled into a routine of 2-3 iTalki lessons of each language per week. 3 for Greek, and 2-3 for Russian. I love it! It's much easier having a tutor than learning alone, as my tutors know where I need to improve and how to do it. Usually I learn well alone until I reach the point where I have no idea how to improve, especially with Russian as it's so similar to Bulgarian. Plus I'm held accountable with homework and the fact that I'm paying a good amount.

Re: Thala's Greek Log!
iTalki is gonna turn into an addiction, isn't it?
I've been browsing tutors from different countries and discovered two things:
- I really want to learn Norwegian (visited a few months ago)
- I really want to perfect my Spanish because I hate unfinished things
Well I guess I could have 2 Russian lessons, 2 Greek, and 1 Norwegian, and occasionally Spanish. Norwegian would be my "just for fun" language.
I also realized that I can understand a vast amount of spoken Russian but can't say ANYTHING, and I can say a lot more in Greek but can't understand much. How funny.

Re: Thala's Greek Log!
Is there a way to change the thread title? Since I'm learning both Russian and Greek, it'd be nice to change it to "Thala's Greek and Russian Log".
Anyway, I'm falling more and more in love with Russian. My tutor is awesome and I'm making great progress. I've changed my phone settings to Russian and I'm fully immersing myself through movies, podcasts and music. The grammar is tough, man I really appreciate Bulgarian's lack of cases.
I've decided to just stick to Greek and Russian for now, I shouldn't distract myself with other languages, 2 is difficult enough!
