I decided to explore the old forum a little bit before it disappears.

I thought they did eventually prove he was real - two years later. However, it's very unlikely he actually has the ability he claimed. In fact, I suggest you read through this /r/languagelearning thread as well.

As galaxyrocker said, the question has already been answered. Also the thread was locked for a reason, there is no need to bring it up again.
