Hello, Maosepo, welcome to the forum! I look forward to following your participation in the wide variety of discussions here.

As small matter separate from your question, I wonder if you would consider using the “Edit” function so as to insert the name of the Spanish course to which you are referring into the title of this discussion thread; something like “SynergySpanish: Anyone tried this course and recommend?” Doing so would assist other members should they ever wish to search the forum for comments on this particular language-learning platform.

Although Spanish is one of the languages that I have been studying, on and off, for a number of years, I have not tried SynergySpanish. While I freely admit that there are many genuinely solid and useful “free” language-learning platforms available on the Internet, my overall impression is that they are often quite limited in scope: you get what you pay for, verdad?

While you have not stated your language-learning goals, I will make the assumption that you want to be able to hold up your end of an Intermediate-Level conversation someday, that you are aware of the challenge that acquiring this level of linguistic ability represents, and that you are willing and prepared to put in the necessary effort. In the event that your goal is the often ill-defined “fluency”, please bear in mind that the collective experience of many of the long-term members of this forum suggests that the Intermediate Level is hard enough nut to crack in itself. So then, while fluency, or attainment of the Advanced Levels, is quite feasible, it can be a frustratingly illusive goal which I seriously doubt could be achieved via the average “free” online language platform.

In response to your question concerning possible alternatives to the SynergySpanish course, I suggest that you review the attached “Spanish Resources” discussion thread. There are more materials for learning Spanish than you can shake a stick at. Some links for your consideration:

FSI Spanish Basic
Although the “audio-lingual method” of language instruction no longer enjoys the high level of support amongst American academia that it once did, many members report having achieved good results (Lower Intermediate Level) through the independent study of these materials … and the best in the lot is free!
