Hello everyone. I have just joined today.
I have been interested in languages for many years. I took an OU Diploma in German, but since I have not been to Germany for many years, I have forgotten much of the language. If I use it again, I know that I will pick it up again quickly.
Since studying German, my interest in languages has broadened out. Rather than study a single language intently, I am now sampling many languages. The latest to be sampled is Hindi. However, although I am sampling many languages, including e.g. Lakota, my main interests currently are Russian, Japanese and Arabic. In other words, I am doing more than sampling these three languages.
I also enjoy reading about language theory.

Hello everyone! My name is Elena and I am learning German (trying to reach B1) and Spanish (just have started, therefore A0 for now). I also hope to keep my C2 in Czech alive (I used to study in the Czech Republic but since I no longer live there, I don't use the language as much).

Re: Introduce yourself here
Hi! My name is Alejandro (shortened to Ale) and I'm learning French! I studied French as a third language in High School for some years, so I'm not a real beginner, but this was 10+ years ago. My two main motivations to resume (or restart) my French studies are:
- I love French cinema! Unfortunately, some films I'm really interested in don't have subtitles, so learning French would allow me to enjoy them.
- I would like to move abroad. I've always lived in Spain and I'd like to experience living in a different country. My SO studied French at University, so moving to a francophone country seems like the best choice.
Nice to meet you all!
