Need song, album, band or artist recommendations for Russian. I'm okay with most genres as long as it isn't an extreme of it. So no heavy or scream metal or EDM. A lot of EDM is fine but the Russian EDM stuff I have found so far makes my ears bleed Thanks in advance

Also if you're ok with hip hop/rap, there are plenty of decent rappers, although it depends on your taste, and they are extremely difficult to find. Jah Khalib is a pretty neutral pop-rapper, although the quality varies from song to song. If you're ok with reggae, try 5'nizza, or even MIYAGI or Jah-Far.

I don't know if this will help, but when I was a kid (like 5-6 or so) I remember my pops listening to some guy called Vysotsky all the time. He was learning Russian at the time so I guess that was the reason for it. I also remember him laughing at his lyrics all the time, so I guess they're somehow funny

He became widely known for his unique singing style and for his lyrics, which featured social and political commentary in often humorous street jargon. He was also a prominent stage and screen actor. If I ever decide to learn Russian, I'll definitely listen to this guy so I'll finally know what's so funny about the songs...(hopefully something).
