I think for me, it's pretty normal to run into a lot of non-native English speakers at work, or at school when I was at college. Having struggled with language for awhile now, I think maybe I have more compassion and patience for their situation. Before all this, even if their accent was strange, that was just okay, I'd accept that. If they were incomprehensible, that would be frustrating, however.
