Hello there, guys.
I am interested in activities which can boost my energy.
I spend 99.9% at home, just procrastinating.
I think I should try fitness and languages, yoga and languages, swimming and languages, sauna and languages, jogging and languages, or just learn how to take breaks from studies in a right way Like that: https://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Break-from-Studying
How do you change activities?

Re: How to Take a Break from Studying
I don't really understand the question, sorry. Do you mean like swapping between languages and another activity? Or about the balance of activities in your life? Are you looking for suggestions?

Yep, I am looking for suggestions. I mean, how to make breaks as much effective, useful, and healthy as possible, in order to prepare yourself for concentrating on languages (sorry If my explanation is not clear again ).

Re: How to Take a Break from Studying
Напишу на русском, может быть так будет понятнее:
Как правильно отдыхать от учебы?
Yes, I think this expression exactly means what I wanted to say.
Я имею ввиду, что я провожу 99,9 % времени дома, прокрастинирую, ничего не делаю.
Может, на фитнес походить или бегом заняться?

Re: How to Take a Break from Studying
Hello!
My hobbies are language learning and lifting weights.
Actually studing languages is easier to manage time. You might find time to study 5-10 minutes and have many sessions a day. On the other hand, lifting weights is a little more complicate because you cannot exercise after lunch and also if you have not eaten. Well everything envolves discipline. Now I have more time to study languages because I am divorced.
The point is try to find your own way to discipline yourself.

99% of your breaks or 99% of your total time?Ольга wrote:I spend 99.9% at home, just procrastinating.
I think it's great to use easier L2 stuff when you're too tired for serious learning.
Working out or jogging should be a great time for aural learning

You can watch movies or read books in your TLs .
For my language-learning is a hobby, so, usually I do only what I want to do .

99% of my total time.
For instance, today: I worked for 3 hours via the internet, 20 minutes of home routine, then I studied for 3 hours (40 minutes of reading a book in English, + writing something in German and French, + one unsuccessful attempt to learn something in Greek, and that's all.)
All other time I was just procrastinating and aimlessly surfing the net.
Probably, I should try to combine jogging and listening of audiobooks. It surely should be useful.
