At work we were all asked to update our CVs. Today I was having a cup of tea in the kitchen, and a colleague came to me and asked
"What is the correct word for my level of English?"
"Proficiency, or you can just put C2 there."
"Say it again?"
"Proficiency".
A couple of hours later I asked him, "Did you write the word Proficiency on your CV?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I couldn't get it right the first time around and decided that I had Advanced, after all."
Proficiency or Advanced? (a bit of light-hearted humour)

About half an hour later, the same cast of personages.
I walk up to a whiteboard and point to a bunch of random strokes made by one of the colleagues.
"Am I the only one who sees a Chinese character in it?"
"Yes, you are. You must be seeing them everywhere."
I point to a drawing of a cat on the same board.
"No, I don't see any in this cat."
"Oh, don't you really? Now take a good look at its whiskers. The right one. Now what does it remind you of?"
"Arrrrrgh! Did you have to do it?"
"Ha-ha! Now try to unsee it!"
