Bit late to this thread, but I am both happy to help out financially as well as technically. It seems that you and rdearman have things handled, but as a fellow programmer and once upon a time sysadmin I don't mind chipping in where/when I can.

Also, by the looks of it I am guessing a Patreon or Paypal account has yet to be set up?

You guess correctly. Know anything about proxy servers? We think the proxy might be the reason people keep having to do captha questions.

Edit: could also use help fixing the super challenge bot for next year to deal with 3 character language codes, and some other stuff listed on the github notes.

So the big problem here is that the Apache server in the phpbb Docker container isn't configured to honor X-Forwarded-For, and it's therefore setting REMOTE_IP (or whatever) incorrectly for PHP. This needs to be fixed by adding an Apache config file of some sort to the phpBB Dockerfile, possible one related to remote_ip? This can all be tested locally if anybody is interested.

I can't say I know much about proxies, but I'm willing to give it a crack and see if an extra head in the situation helps. You can PM me some of the details of what you use and so on and we can go from there if you like.

The twitter bot is a bit more up my alley, when I get a chance I'll take a look at the repo on GitHub and get to work.

EDIT: per emk's comment with the extra details, I'm willing to give it a crack.

It's currently in the rough ballpark of US$40. I'm going to set up a Patreon soon in case people want to chip in a few bucks (I was waiting to see whether Patreon sorted out their recent mess with fees, and they did, so we're good to go ahead). So watch this thread if you're interested.
