Re: No matter how long I study ___ I will never remember ___
I often feel that no matter how long I study Italian I will never learn to use di/da correctly. But that's getting better too

Re: No matter how long I study ___ I will never remember ___
I have already forgotten most of the things I have learnt, and unless something reminds me of the void left by the passage into oblivion I won't even know what it is I have forgotten. But if I study long enough then I may accidentally stumble over the forgotten items, and the second time it is marginally less likely that I will forget them again soon. That's one good reason for writing things down.
The most irritating thing is when I remember something that point to the void left by a forgotten item in such a vague or irrelevant way that it doesn't help me to retrieve the item.

Re: No matter how long I study ___ I will never remember ___
No matter how long I study Spanish, I will never remember the pretérito tense conjugations, though I think remember when it should be used .
Another one is that no matter how long I study various languages, I thought I would never remember to balance learning vocabulary with learning relevant grammar points, but I hope I'm finally getting it right!
