Good online Japanese courses?
Hi, I tried to learn Korean and Swedish in the past with books only but I noticed that I don't enjoy learning by reading books only, and for both languages I ended up giving up after a month or two. So this time, I'm looking for online Japanese lessons; that preferably include video or audio, and I need something serious. What I mean by serious is complete lessons that includes grammar, vocabulary, spoken and written language and exercises. I don't mind paying for them as long as they're worth it.

They've got everything there for a beginner. It's either free or cheap. They update the site frequently. Almost every day.

There is also Jplang. Google search that. Don't have time, need to get off ferry
How is the Udemy course? I see that they have a 93% discount off of their course ( https://www.udemy.com/japanese-n5-course/ ). Is it common to have such a steep discount? How does this course compare to just using a Genki book and CD?
The Coscom site looks promising too: you can have slow audio with romanji, kana and kanji transcripts.

I hesitated. They've upped the price to £15. I guess I get to wait a little while

Solve Your Challenge with an Online CourseJoin millions of students learning on Udemy every day. Get your next course for £15.
It presumably knows I'm in the UK and so offered the price in pounds - it's nothing I did.
ロータス wrote:Try ths: https://www.udemy.com/japanese-n2-course/
Still £15. So I followed that link with Firefox (rather than Chrome) and I'm now signed up for £10! (Sneaky dynamic pricing!)
Thanks!

Free website by Japan Foundation: Erin's Challenge
Easy Japanese: a free course by NHK World.
Marugoto: A free website that accompanies a series of books with the same name. And they seem to have launched an online course too: Marugoto Japanese Online Course (not sure if the course is free or paid)
