Yiddish "O Canada"

Postby iguanamon » Mon Jun 12, 2017 5:16 pm

This came to me via Tablet Magazine/Twitter: 150 People Sing ‘O Canada’ in Yiddish. The video includes sing-along lyrics in (latin script) Yiddish, in honor of Canada's upcoming 150th independence anniversary. There's a quite long history of Yiddish in Canada, especially in Montreal.

Now, that was really cool! I love O Canada, the Maple Leaf Flag, and I very much miss living in Montréal.
