Also contradictory. Good cheese on pizza? Pfft highly unlikely ;) Maybe I'm developping cheese snobbery due to all of my French and Dutch studying. Man, I'm such a cheese buff now (not). Ahem, I know all the great cheeses I'll have you (not) know!

Yep, I love the forum too. Tiz most excellent indeed.

As for speech being a very 'high' accomplishment for human beings. I'm not so sure our future looks so great considering the continual reduction in the number of languages on the planet. Ahhhh free trade agreements, mass education, and mass media are so good for thinking and the spread of new languages aren't they not? (no, they're generally not). Ironically these things do help people like us teach ourselves languages in some contexts.

Yeah I was thinking rather about that juicy, heavenly mozarella they put on pizzas in Neaples.

As for your point: all the more to appreciate and value this forum :)

You have the right to say that after you join a Power Rangers forum.

I wish we could all have a pizza party!

@rdearman I hope we will find a way to restructure so that the administrative burden is not so heavy for you. It's still a young forum. I think its first birthday is this week! :D

Since I first started a log, Adrianslont has been hanging out with me in there giving lots of help and resources. Brand new member takretak only has 3 posts, but all 3 of them are long lists of resources and recommendations based on his experiences. Lots of great people here. So thanks to my Indonesian learning friends, the admins, and all the posters here.

And you have been likewise helpful to me, Blue. Thanks! And I have learned a lot from other members, too.

I was saddened to find HTLAL had become increasingly moribund and thought that was simply the nature of things, that eventually we all leave and go our own way (rejoin the Real World). Little did I know you'd all migrated to this wonderful little (or not so little) place!

I was formerly "ChristopherB" on HTLAL, now reimagined under a new alias for 2016 and onwards!
