Turkish or Iranian TV Shows?

I am interested in eventually learning Turkish and Farsi, and while my plan this year is to focus on Japanese and Spanish, I would like to catch a taste of the formally mentioned languages and associated cultures. So I was wondering if there are TV shows from such countries that are accessible to American viewers? English subtitles would be preferred.

There is a huge amount of Iranian serials and movies on youtube, (search for سریال or فیلم ). I have also seen a number with English subtitles, search for: Persian serial English subtitle, or something like it.
I can also recommend these sites for media:
http://www.farsi1hd.com/http://www.farsitube.com/http://www.injatv.com/https://www.manototv.com/, also check manoto's channel on youtube.
As for Turkish, I can tell that turkish serials are extremely popular, I have watched many of them (dubbed in Persian) in the sites listed above. I'm sure I have seen some with English subs on youtube.

I'm currently learning Farsi and regularly watch TV series dubbed in Farsi on
http://www.gemonline.tv. It seems as though, most of the series are dubbed Turkish soap operas. You do have to pay for a monthly subscription, but it's only $8.99.. about the price of a Netflix account.
I know people in my area that have Direct TV and are able to get all of the GEM TV channels and therefore have access to a LOT of content dubbed in Farsi. That includes American series/movies as well, which is really helpful. Hope I helped!

In my country Poland, for some reason Turkish tv series have become very popular recently.
One is called Muhteşem Yüzyıl (The Magnificent Century), but I think there are others too.
I am not sure about Irani shows.

Yeah, Magnificent Century is great! I've watched it dubbed in Farsi and Russian.
