William Camden wrote:George Orwell was of the opinion that French explained why he occasionally put adjectives after the noun (though this can also occur in Polish).
In my opinion it is very unlikely to occur in Polish. It may be found e.g. in Bible translations, but they use archaic constructions as a rule.
I find it very noteworthy that there are people who are able to write good literary prose in a L2. I'm thinking for example about African writers who write in French or English. I authored some scholarly texts in two foreign languages, but writing belletristic (short stories and novels, not the papers one is required to write while attending a language course) is above my skill level.
