Q: How to practice French while travelling?
A: Go to a French speaking country.
Q: Has anyone accidentally learned a foreign language?
A: Yes. I did not choose to be born into an English speaking family.
Q: Article: Can Russia save its minority languages?
A: False. Russian does not have articles.
Q: Celebrities speak Welsh.
A: Really? All of them? Is this some sort of requirement? How do they learn?
Q: How much work is a minor in Russian, and how far will it take me in Russian?
A: It depends. If you already speak Russian, it will be reasonably straightforward. If you don't it will be a bit harder. (If you speak Ukrainian, it will be harder still, because people will call you names.) As for the second question, at my university it could take you all the way to Vladivostok. Your millage will vary, however.
Q: Can taking classes at a university bring someone to a proficient level?
A: Classes in what? It depends.
Q: No-one, noone or no one -- which is right?
A: Nobody.
