Q: Learning sprints - bad idea or not?
A: If you have a chance to regularly talk to the Sprints natives, go for it!

Q: If you could learn any language without considering outside factors...
A: I have enough room in my house for a desk and a bookcase, so I do not have to consider outside factors at all.

Q: Learning A Language With Minimal Daily Study
A: Is like trying to lose weight without going on a diet

Q: phonetics stress
A: There are enough things in life to worry about without letting phonetics stress you out.

Q: What's everyone's experience with burnout?
A: I learned the hard way - don't play with matches!

Q: A French race for C2
A: Is there really such a thing as a French race (and should that race be defined as people who speak French at the C2 level)?

Q: French audio -- life after Pimsleur?
A: Did Pimsleur temporarily quell all signs of life in French audio, reducing it to the hibernation state of a tardygrade? In that case I would be very cautious about using that system! However in case in an affirmative answer to this question an organization like NASA might be interested. Just install a Pimsleur French course in the cabin during the intended Mars mission and you don't have to supply food for the duration of the flight. The worst thing that could happen is that the native language of future Martians would be French, not American English.

Q: Anki Won't Sync
A1: Kick one half of Anki until it realigns with the other half (and then press the sync button if you can find it)
A2: Did you really expect that it would?

Q: How helpful has AJATT been for you?
A: Not at all, mostly because I haven't used the system.

Q: Your Language Learning Weaknesses
A1: Enormous languages and short attention span (and life expectancy)
A2: No real reason to learn most of them
A1 + A2: Not being willing to draw the logical conclusion and drop language learning
