Q: When can you say you have reached Intermediate level?
A: Anytime you want... it's your mouth.
Q: To L2 subtitles or no?
A: TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!
Q: Great Literature = Better Listening Skills?
A: Dictionary says no. Great Literature = written works, especially those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit.
Q: "Ne tüne szabs kartiit "
A: Not in my lifetime!
Q: Are Romance languages "inefficient"?
A: I didn't know you could use them as a heat source or a marketplace.
Q: Language Communities: experiences?
A: Oh yeah! One time down in Mexico, I met this ... er.... oh... that isn't what you meant.
Q: What is your favorite language?
A: C, because C++ is just a pain to use and I had all that object-oriented crap. Although perl and python are nice too.
Q: I need an ultrasonic wave for my soup : why words don't stick?
A: You're not using enough glue.
Q: Is there a single example of wanderlust language learners actually being broadly successful?
A: No, move along, nothing to see here.

Q. Why are you learning our language?
A. So when we invade your country I'll be able to ask, "Where is the toilet?"
