Maybe learn the first one first? Actually I doubt that you can skip no. 1 and go directly to no. 2.

A:Why would anyone sane want to learn even one?

(no offence meant to my fellow Slavic language natives!)

I was just about to write: "Oh there are so many reasons ...", but I guess if one of them could be "outright masochism" we can start to question the "sanity" part of it all

Birds are actually dinosaurs (the only survivors after the problematic period 65 mio. years ago) - and some of them speak alot, but don't understand nuttin' of what they say.

So early speaking does lead to fossilized errors! :)

Q: How to freeze a language at a beginner state?
A: You could have your brain cryogenically frozen, however there is no guarantee you will be able to unfreeze it later.

Live Forever - Rachmaninoff, Debussy and Chopin
All three gentlemen are dead, so it seems you can't live forever

How to freeze a language at a beginner state?
Record it

Learning Anglo Saxon words
WHÆT!

How to learn English punctuation?
Think of commas as a life saver when you run out of breath - not as something even vaguely related to grammar.

What is real language?
For instance the sentence above. Proof: you saw it and you understood it. That's a feature inherent in real languages. Unreal writings systems can normally not be seen, and if you do see texts in them (using black magick or Google) then you are unlikely to understand anything.

How do you know if you understand?
I don't even know whether I understood the word "real" in the sentence "What is real language" - so I just made a bold guess and went on.

The Answers to Discussion Topics
.. is actually the sum of all messages in this forum, minus the first message in each thread

What does your output look like?
Some of it looks like this sentence.

.. But because of the subversive writings of Mr. Gödel I have come to the conclusion that I couldn't possibly have written this sentence.
