Last weekend I sat a CEFR C2 level exam in Esperanto and this was completely online, with the help of the browser plugin Proctor, a custom platform for the written exam, and Zoom for the oral exam. I really liked the experience and I believe this will also make CEFR exams more accessible to people not living in big cities - e.g. this exam was offered as an in-person exam in 13 cities (including Bogotá, Moscow and Sapporo but not Berlin...) but without the online version I wouldn't have been able to participate, or would have had to spend a lot of money for a weekend "vacation" in one of the cities offering the exam.
I wonder if you know of other CEFR exams that can also be taken online?
Btw, for those interested now, there will be another worldwide Esperanto exam day including online exams in June and the team is really good about helping you prepare. I myself am running a group on this forum for faux beginners trying to reach C1 before then.
Also, based on my preparations, I have written up some tips on how to prepare for this kind of exam for any language, not just Esperanto: https://languagecrush.com/forum/t/3459

Re: Online CEFR exams
Romanian and Russian exams can be taken online. I guess they're not the only ones!

I believe the SIELE exam for Spanish can also now be taken remotely with an online proctor!

Re: Online CEFR exams
It's so nice Katalin and the KER exams are offered online now. I took the C1 skriba exam in Moscow in 2017; you couldn't take the parola exam due to the local group not being able to afford to fly in and host 2 x fluent Esperanto examiners for the speaking test.

You're not a C1 (or B1 or whatever) if you haven't tested.
