Why is it that there is an entire board dedicated to Spanish - i.e. a sub forum which is meant to be the forum, but in Spanish?
Why isn't there one for, say, German or French? Not that I particularly want that, but why Spanish?

Re: Solo español
I guess than, in certain point of the past, the spanish language was the most studied/learned in the forum, and deserved this consideration.

Re: Solo español
The reason was on the old HTLAL website there were sub-forums for separate languages. We were undecided if we should continue this tradition, since those sub-forums were not particularly active. Many people requested this for Spanish, and so we lined up 3-4 people who would be moderators of the Spanish forum. Subsequently, all these people have left, there are very few posts on the Spanish only forum (like HTLAL) and so it is basically a failed experiment. The other side of the coin was the "Multiple Language" room, which has slightly more posts than Spanish, but not much. So two failed experiments for the price of one.
So whenever people ask me "Oh! Can we have a subforum dedicated to [insert non-English language here]." then I point out the Spanish forum and say nope, go post in the multilingual room.

Re: Solo español
Thanks for the explanation. I can relax now, it was a niggling question.
I had a bash, most of my early posts here were in the multilingual room. Some quite long. I've learned to like polls now though. Much easier.
