Where do I post language learning work?

Postby taylorhayward » Fri Aug 12, 2022 4:51 pm

Hi! I'm a researcher and I'm looking for language learning students (past or present) for some research I'm doing. Where's the best place to post such a request?

This is the right place. You can just continue to post in this thread if you want.

I sometimes worry that a large bulk of the research in this field is based on the responses of the same 20 people from this forum over and over again

To try and counter this I asked my neighbour if she would participate just for variety. She said 'no'. The cat just turned away and went to sleep.

Don't worry. The bulk is done on the easy victims: tons of unmotivated language learners that just take a college class for an obligatory credit, who will answer anytime their teacher wants. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to visibly shift that.

And yeah, secnodning frenchfish55: I can be a good guinea pig too ;-)
