Dr. Taylor Jones has a PhD in linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania. His research on sociolinguistics has appeared in the New York Times & The Guardian. He also had a pretty active blog HERE. The blog focused especially on AAVE/AAE dialectology and sociolinguistic implications for disadvantaged speech communities in the US.
Recently, he decided to dive into the YouTube world - I must have followed the channel awhile ago and all of a sudden several videos popped up two days ago on various topics including a funny thing that happens in Persian, Anki card tips, the origin of the word "gambit," and the tendency to misrender the Greek letter Omicron as Omnicron. HERE is the link to his channel. It's rather funny to see the standard YouTube tricks to go along with more erudite content.

Good find. I enjoyed the Persian short take.
