Raining Cats and Dogs
Someone posted something about their cat recently. It made me wonder if there are more "cat people" or "dog people" as language learners. So I've set up this very (un)scientific survey to determine the answer.

Re: Raining Cats and Dogs
I'm actually a dog person, but for the last 18 years I've had cats. I have a cat now. It's just a practical matter because I can't always be at home to walk a dog and I wouldn't want a dog to be trapped indoors. I like both though.

Pedantry is properly the over-rating of any kind of knowledge we pretend to.

Guess. He was about 3 months old here. Cats are okay, but I like big dogs much more.

Re: Raining Cats and Dogs
I never considered myself a specific animal person (never seen any value in this kind of strict categorizing), but seeing all these dog people I've decided to put one in for cats. Besides, I do like cats.

Re: Raining Cats and Dogs
couldn't resist chance to post dog pic
Was a cat person (incidentally while I was traveling, until I became entirely unmoored and the cat left me) who achieved dog-personhood when I got my first dog (and was settled down)

I like both, but as my picture shows, I love cats most of all
