Sure, I don't mind sharing the paper itself. It isn't particularly well written because of the pitiful amount of time we were given to write it but the data set I was dealing with may be thought provoking for you guys. I thought the correlations that I was able to draw between the data we collected were interesting at the very least.

I think you're exactly right though. The very existence of this mindset perpetuates people's perceived inability to learn languages. More research needs to be undertaken to definitively show that the "critical period" is really just the "period where we're receiving insane amounts on high quality language input".
