I'd like to see this one. BBC makes som great documentaries. Sadly, it is only available in the UK.

This is an excellent documentary. If you've got any interest in writing systems and books, you've got to watch this. The second episode was particularly interesting, exploring the significance of the papyrus of Rome, the parchment of middle age Europe and the paper of China. I hope I can see episode 3 as well.

This seems to be available from Arte.tv now in French (L'odyssée de l'écriture) and German (Vom Schreiben und Denken. Die Saga der Schrift).
