I put the written form of the word and its audio, which I can play by clicking on it, on the front. The meaning is on the back of the card. If I can recall the meaning and the pronunciation I click "Easy", if I needed some time to do so I click "Good" if I could remember the written form only or I recalled the meaning only after hearing the pronunciation I click "Hard". I use Yomichan and the N5-1 word lists.
