When you struggle to log into a website and, after many failed attempts, you finally realize it is not accepting your password because although you have been typing the right keys, you had left the IME (Input Method Editor) set for a different language than the one your password should be written in. :oops:

Last night in my dream, I got signed up by my dad to a very intensive and time consuming advanced German class (or rather a full time German learning school). After searching for the right building, the right floor, then the the classroom, discovering the schedule (no clue how on earth did my dream self plan to get away from working for a few months to attend a full time language learning schedule), and arriving to the class full of people (already a nightmare), I found out it was actually a Russian class, not German. I didn't actually want to learn Russian, but nobody cared. And after some more confusion, I found out I had brought with myself my old highschool Latin coursebook instead of either German or Russian one.

I recently had a dream where I became mute and thought "well I won't have to be embarrassed about my speaking skills being much worse than my listening skills".

This is me sometimes. And because when taking notes in Vietnamese I have to put in some English too, I end up leaving Telex on and well, this is from today's notes (trying to get them down quickly whilst I am listening):

được không?- í it okay? Appropriate
asking about myélfg ì it í appropriate
ì I ák you then I am áking ì you can sing ưell?
Anh hát được không? = Anh hát hay không.

Bryn :Anh có thể nói tiếng MC được không?
Is it appropriate ì I speak Mọngolian right nơ?

Chris: Anh có thể nói tiếng MC được không?
Can you speak Mônglian to the point ò being in the middle? Like bình thường

With Telex:
w = ư
ow = ơ
is = í
if = ì
yse = yé
as = á
etc.

When you get in a Duolingo lesson between acts at a metal concert so you don't lose your streak.

If Duolingo's voice recognition can understand your words through a metal growl, I truly fear that AI is close to replacing us all...

Well, Duolingo's Hebrew course doesn't have speaking drills, but judging by how bad Pimsleur's Hebrew voice recognition is, I don't think metal growling would make a difference. :lol:

Rosetta Stone too.

The last metal concert I went to was The Hu, but it did not improve my Mongolian, and sadly Duolingo doesn't support it lol
