I actually laughed at this  love it

Tomorrow when I go into the city to go to liturgy, I go right past an antiquarian bookstore.
Must. Not. Enter. Remember you're a broke uni student. You have three books coming in the mail, one of which you'll be able to pick up Monday morning. You don't have room for any more books anyways.

Furthermore,
... When you bring more books than clothes to uni.
... When you forget your rainjacket, but not your bilingual Old Occitan / French book.
... When the only thing you're taking at uni are languages
... When you have a French accent in Ukrainian.
... When you tell someone in your third year Italian class (at an Anglophone uni) that you only started Italian in June which is why you have such a thick French accent.
... When you use 6 languages in one day.
... When you have books in only 9 languages with you at uni.

When you hear a foreing language spoken by strangers on the street and you can't resist to ask: "excuse me, what language are you speaking?"

Nope, it was Karma.

Well, if you know the cat's name, clearly you've been in contact...

You know you’re a language nerd when you remember to leave work with your Japanese books, but not your purse—twice.

Thankfully I remembered it before I went too far (twice).

Maybe you should keep your books in your purse.

I always wonder, but I have never asked. Especially Africans, their languages are so diverse and beautiful :D

When you're accidentally writing your Chinese exam in Korean (a friend of mine)

When after you hear the above anecdote, your first thought is of posting it on this forum
